As stated these are 2 very different bikes, so split the difference. And go for the GS800 Adventure. Andy

I've had both bikes and in my honest opinion I much prefer the tenere (thumbs) (thumbs)

it's easy.
One will get you around the world with few if any problems .The other wont :whistle:

I like that, but not quite true....give the BM a break! It should read 'The other just might, if you're very, very lucky!'.

Oh I don't know - those tenere's are not very reliable! I've had to change loads of stuff :) and hardly done any miles at all.....

46000 miles and had to replace the rear wheel bearings already and ah and ...... and ..... oh yes headrace bearings.
