There's no other way of saying this....

Post by Alun »

....I'm picking up a 2008 XT660Z with 1250 miles on the clock tomorrow. Paid £200 over my budget, but it's in showroom condition so I'm happy with that.

The question is will you sleep tonight and did you have to lie to get it ? Lancaster Mick might want/need some advice.
Never enough time and so much to see and experience.

Previously a VStrom 650, and a KTM SMR 950, currently XT600E with many mods. And now a F800GS Trophy since the KTM has gone.

What sort of person buys a bike like that and then only uses it to commute to the corner store?

Congrats on a great buy Alun, I'm sure she'll bring you much happiness, even if some of your other bikes are going to end up feeling slightly neglected! If any of them need some love to aleviate the boredom of just sitting in your garage let me know. I'm sure I can keep them entertained for a while :)

Congrats, for some reason the XT660Z is really starting to appeal to me, not sure why!

Not in a buying position at the moment financially, maybe in 5 years time when theyre all super cheap!

Pics, pics, pics :) Congrats on the purchase. Is it on stock tyres and are you thinking of changing?
I went to the Caribbean on holiday with my wife last year.

Jamaica?

No, she wanted to.
