What have you done with your bike today?

Post by Ubique 895 »

I got caught out in horrible sleet whilst nipping about town running errands.

Jeans and desert boots not recommended for sleet, that's for sure!

Ridden to work on dry but cold roads . . . . . . ridden home on an inch or so of the white stuff

Stuffs busy turning to slush now, cos it's raining! Go figure British weather :silly:

I wobbled in the snow to put the beastie in for his service.
Never been out in the snow so quite proud of myself :)
The mechanic did make me take the bus home though :D

Same as Jackdaw.... pretty heavy snow on the way home.
Always fun on slighty (well) worn tyres.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but turn the knob on the top full right this is the prime position which will re prime (doh) the system. During winter I always turn mine up anyhow. Hope this helps cheers Spud ;)

Fitted a new exhaust and then it started snowing so obviously I decided to go over to a mates workshop on it and freeze myself to death.

Just rode home on what can only be described as a skating ring. God it was scary.
