My New Old Bike!

Just finished rebuilding / restoring a Triumph Bonneville T140 circa 1981 to look like a Trophy TR6C
circa 1968. Had a lot of help. As ever the job was much bigger and more complicated than originally envisaged. Most parts had to be altered or remade to fit the "newer" bike.
Had my first ride on Saturday..... it was all worth it.

Nice , are those exhaust pipes custom made ?

The pipes were one of the few bits that fitted, the mounting brackets were a different story.They are original TR6c pipes bought in the UK.

My dads brother has old norton 650 in his garage it is in about 20 cardboard boxes to be precize , and it has been sleeping for more than 30 years i think , but every time i have asked him to sell it to me he refuses ( lack of trust in my driving skills i think :whistle: ) , i would love nice project like that . :(
