hi
i have honda cbx 750 from 1985. engine have some strange noises i think it is alternator chain.
does any one know where is altornator chain tensioner in this motorbike

I had one of these years ago they do make a funny noise sort of wineing noise like gears meshing , i think chain is from crank to alternator above gearbox ????

i think is just chain that need to be adjusted just i dont know how to get there i heard that you need to take all engine apart to get to alternator but i donthing i need do it if i just need to adjust chain in it

The tensioner for the alternator chain is automatic. Slack chain equals nackered and its an engine out job I'm afraid. Thankfully I had the sense to do mine when in was in pieces for something else so hopefully I've a few years before it needs doing again.
However I will soon have a running engine with all bottom bearings changed, cam and alternator chain done and valve stem seals (etc etc). Could potentially take yours and rebuild it.
