Xt660z windscreen screws
i was wondering if anyone knew where i can get some metal screws for the windscreen on my xt660z ten. the rubbish plastic ones just keep snapping in the holes. cant seem to find any available anywhere unless im typing the wrong thing.
Re: Xt660z windscreen screws
are they the same set up as the honda transalp screen screws?
And on another totally different subject...how do you find the bike compares to your old Alp, on the road mainly as you aint taken it off road yet.
main area is suspension , fuel consumption ,ride comfort and any vibes.
thanks

Re: Xt660z windscreen screws
i find the ride position far superior to the TA and not worse in road handling. the fuel consumpion seems spot on although i need another fill up to get a more accurate reading. havent had chance to get off road with the ten yet. the comfort is slightly better i would say that the TA, the ten is certainly more vibey and has less top end power which is noticeable on the motorway. as far as big singles go however i believe it to be quite smooth. so far i love itTramp wrote:are they the same set up as the honda transalp screen screws?

I thought the idea of plastic screws is that if you were to come off it is more likely the screws would break and the screen would be saved. If you had metal screws the screen would be more likely to break.
Just out of curiosity ive been riding mine for about a year with plastic screws without a break what are you doing to yours?

I went to the Caribbean on holiday with my wife last year.
Jamaica?
No, she wanted to.
