And you'll see the chisel edge that takes the load. That's one smack over the head with a bit of 4x2
Something that I think we already know

Re: Something that I think we already know
Greetings Asgard,
I was at St Athans for basic trade training back at the end of 1969.
I had already qualified in the motor industry and was fed up of doing the same things so went for aircraft propulsion with an eye on trying to be accepted for pilot training but on heavy transport aircraft. Ends up basically the same since all internal combustion engines are effectively the same and although I had my full tech plus management qualifications I didn't have an 'O' level English language so was barred from interview
I had a great time though and would recommend youngsters do the same.

Hugh.

Greetings,
Here are two old books for you to look out for a bike shows;
The title might say "modern" but a bit dated now, I don't think folk re-rivet brake or clutch linings any more

Here's something that might appeal to old codgers like me, yes I know it's metric!

Not used a Zeus for years, infact I seem to remember mine was both metric and imperial seeing as there was a foot in each camp back in 1980.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

Aaha..as an old codger that never throws stuff out...I still have one.
Though it says metric revision, most of the stuff in it is still Imperial (UNC. UNF, BSP threads etc)
Can't see a date on it
