Checked by running on the center stand disc gets slightly warm. Not much though. Ran it for about a minute. The speedo showed 40 mph.

Is there any adjustment available on the pedal, there ought to be. If so slacken it all the way off, then test again.
Was there an issue before the seal went? If not you may have to revisit it.

At Off Road Skills, its such a common problem for people to ride with the rear brake dragging on a big GS and bluing the disc that they mention it at every course's briefing.
I think its because the action from the foot pedal is so rubbish that you cant feel it unless you're stamping on it.

Just did a test. Rode 1.4 miles with TC and abs off. Used only front brake, checked both front and rear discs were too hot to touch. Never had the front so hot. Any ideas.

So blueing is normal.

But have you ever done that before ?
That sounds pretty normal.

Blueing is _common_ but I dont use my back brake now I know how well the linked brakes and abs work, so _mine_ doesnt blue.

Hi, thanks, will try there. Just a question next time anyone is riding, can you please check your rear discs to see if they are too hot to touch compared to the fronts.

if you do have free play on the pedal I would exaggerate this to test, and check that play has not reduced when in a warm disc condition, but if that is OK, an unlikely but possible is that if you overfill the rubber boots over the sliders with grease you can create a pressure in the caliper mechanism this could induce a small amount of brake drag. Give the boots a gentle squeeze. Oopps Just read that the front also warming so this is probably not relevant.
