In Lidl today saw this
https://www.lidl.com/products/285409_A
And some of the associated tools
As some.of my gear is getting old and trying new projects. I wondered if anyone on here has used their compressor and any of the peripheral tools what their thoughts were and how reliable and powerful they were.
I don't want to fork out then find six months down line I should of spent a bit more elsewhere
Thanks

Re: Lidl tools/compressor
Hi zim
I don't have one, but I know of a Lidl compressor being used almost daily up at Motobreaks. Don't think it's been any problem so far.
I do have a Lidl socket set, which only cost 65 Euros and I've used for all kinds for over 8 years. When I can't find a hammer to hand, I even use the large ratchet to bash things with - and it's stood up well.

Re: Lidl tools/compressor
I have the compressor from lidl or the other one, been using it lightly the odd tyre, air blast etc done the job for 4 or5 years OK, tried one nut with the associated socket gun failed to undo it, not really fair to blame the tool though. Did change the hose for a better quality one the original was a pain to coil up and the tyre valve adapter also failed thinking back too, changed that for a pro one. Conclusion compressor OK but unsure of the other stuff.
Re: Lidl tools/compressor
I don't have their compressor, but other bits'n'bobs have been ok. Probably not up to pro use but ok for the DIYer.
Currently have this on offer - good price, I thought!

... and this - maybe handy over winter.

The Parkside stuff varies. The cable ties often strip themselves when the presssure's on.
Lidl's Castelgy gin is perfectly serviceable though....

Re: Lidl tools/compressor
Do not have any Lidl air tool,s but have a number of Aldi air tools which I guess are probably similar quality.
These are not professonal quality tools, but are fine for low level usage.

Re: Lidl tools/compressor
Ive always fancied one of these Tim, but I know it will only get used to blow the bike over after washing and pumping up the kids bike tyres! so not really worth it for me, but I do love tools and gadgets and have far too many socket and screwdriver sets knocking about in the garage!!!

The Lidl stuff has a three year warranty as well. And they do honour it so long as you keep the receipt.
