Can this top-box be removed?

Post by macvisual »

Does anyone know if this top-box can be removed from it's carrier via the key? Although it's branded a Honda top-box it looks very like a Givi made box.
I'm hoping it's removable from the rack. Might the bottom red button on the box when pressed remove it I wonder?

Yes your correct about the bottom red button ,
Incert your key turn to the unlock position then press bottom red button , box will part from carrier.
These are quite good little top boxes had mine for around 12 years & use it on two different bikes .

Thanks guys, I was on a 12hr nightshift last night when I posted that query, so out at garage this afternoon and Yes, the top box totally removes from the carrier -- happy days.

Starting to oil/grease/WD40 parts on the Innova. I love tinkering and futtering away at it in my spare time..!

That's a Givi "Simply" box. I have the same one. Do as Clutchspring says.

Futtering ?

Got me looking it up, and this quote emerged:

"I warn you, my lad, you will be sodomised; you, my girl, I shall futter; for the thief who is bearded, ... He fared forth from her to the second wife in her chamber and stretched himself beside her and toyed with her and futtered her.

Is this little scooter safe with you, Mac ?

It doesn’t sound like it....

I found this quote;

“My bones creak, my sight is getting long, my wind is shorter than it used to be, I can't futter three times a night every night any more...“
