Karcher pressure washers
I have had many years of faithful service out of a little Karcher 200 MB pressure washer, but the high-pressure hose has finally had enough and failed in two places. Genuine replacement hoses are £70+, and they don't list one specifically for my machine.
Does anyone know of a suitable replacement, or should I just pay £50 for a Spear & Jackson pressure washer from Argos?
I try very hard not to be part of the throwaway society, but it really is stupid when a simple component costs more than a complete new machine.

Re: Karcher pressure washers
Have a look at Karcher outlet store, I've had a couple o A grade over the years, no discernible difference from new, same guarantee just fair bit cheaper, I think they've started to charge a nominal sum now for 12 months guarantee but still a great price

Re: Karcher pressure washers
Look on eBay, couple years ago found a chap who would make up hoses any length, and for most pressure washers, he had all the fittings, and made up extensions for drains etc. Got a feeling he was in Germany, but was not out the way on price.

Re: Karcher pressure washers
You probably already know this, but be careful to get a hose with the right fitting at the machine end. They changed the way the fitting clips in a few years ago and now you have to make sure you get the right one.

Thanks for the replies...you are dead right, it is the fittings that are the problem

Get an Aldi Workzone one, we replaced our K7 with one last year and it’s every bit as good and it doesn’t self destruct at the first sign of frost.
Re: Karcher pressure washers
I managed to get a replacement hose for mine on eBay a while back.
But then needed a new washer altogether a bit later on and managed to get a karcher on a special offer from Halfords.
