Looking for a Mechanic - Greater Manchester

Post by panterg »

Hi All , My Yamaha TT600RE has been stood for a while - it will fire up on choke , but not run without choke . I know it's probably the jets but I don't want to delve into the carbs - so I'm looking for possibly a retired mechanic or someone who is knows about these bikes to re-commission the carbs . Don't want to pay main dealer prices as the bike is an '04 ………… so if anybody could suggest someone I would really appreciate it , Thanks in advance Glenn

Before you do any of that, take the air filter out and blast a can of carb cleaner down the hole.

Quicker and cheaper.
