Hi
I had a 1090 s it had a hyperpro rear spring which lowered it by 30mm.
Now looking at a 1290s could I fit the same spring on the rear of this bike. It does have Eds system (electronic suspension) has anyone used this before ? Or would there be any issues with installing it.

Lowering a bike 30mm by adding extra sag via a softer spring is not a good method, the handling will suffer
You either need to fit a lowering link or have have the shock shortened.

I had the hyper pro spring on my 1090 and didn't suffer any issues with handling.
It did drop the bike by 30mm .
