hot grips wire?

Post by garyboy »

can anyone tell me .. my LH heated grip is colder than the RH .. I know its onto metal whereas the rh is on plastic .. but it is quite a bit `less warm` …
if I shorten the LH elec lead to it, will it get more power / hotter ?

Always had the same thing going on
Now think of the right one as being warmer than the left one, rather than the left one colder than the right one so happy! :D

Bear in mind you probably grip the throttle more than the left grip and that can make it feel warmer.

Sounds like you fucked up the installation
Did you insulate the bar with the heat shrink provided.

When the thermostat went on my old Mum's iron, she tied a knot in the flex to slow down the electricity so as it wouldn't get too hot too quickly.

I hope this helps.

Can you carefully remove the grip Gary? Sounds like you need to puts some insulation on the bar as suggested, tape will help.

Ah, I suppose the heated bit is stuck on, not so easy then!

what would you guys suggest to fit to left hand bar that won't allow the grip to slip?
