Auto bike electrician in Doncaster area

Post by Craggrat »

Hi
I’m looking for a auto electrician in the Doncaster area, I need some spot lights and USB port wiring up.
I’ve got the relay n switch n cable.
Anyone know of a sparky in South Yorkshire that will sort this out.
I’ve contacted two one in donny n one in Sheffield. But as soon as l say it’s on a bike they don’t seem interested.

Have you tried your local bike mechanic/shop they would do it for you.

On the other hand it is really simple to do yourself if you take your time.there only a live and a earth relays are a doddle as well shame your not my way as I'd have done it for you

Come to the Ecky Thump rally next weekend and I'll show you how to do it. You will be surprised how easy it is. The biggest problem is usually removing bodywork, locating your items and then routing the wiring.

I'm in Scunthorpe but busy until early November - at the Ecky Thump next weekend then away for half term

I've fitted sat nav, running lights and a Fuzeblock terminal to my 2001 Africa Twin so should be able to help

If you don't want to or can't come to the Ecky Thump and can wait until November let me know

John

Thanks guys, see you at Pickering, I did wire it up myself, but the spot light switch burnt out, so disconnected all the wiring I did.
I’m not into electrics, not bad on the spanner’s tho.

I guess you didn't use a fuse and relay then...
Current bike is a Yamaha T7

Yes, used relay n fuse, but I wired it up wrong, electrics aren’t my thing.
