Nearly as much as riding
I wash my bikes after every ride - every time
Never put my bike away dirty - it's a sin

You're weird...
You have no idea.

Over the years I've found the worst thing to do it put a bike away after washing and leaving it to dry in the shed, wheel bearings getting water in are the worst, so if it's just surface dust/light dirt then a quick hose off (not pressure washer) and leave in the sun.
If it's very dirty then degreaser for chain & sprockets then a good wash using muc off or whatever my local bike shop has in stock at the moment, I do use the pressure washer then on the lowest pressure it has and leave to dry outside for as long as possible, maybe a short ride to help it dry off.

I've been thinking of trying the snow foam stuff on my road bike as it should mean I don't have to rub the bodywork.

In the shower with a bit of soap usually.
Is that a 2stroke or 4 stroke.
Either, it still counts as a wankel

Got me one if these. Never looked back.
Some people suggest using leaf blowers. But they ain't got no filters and can end up sand blasting your pride and joy.

Like the bloke that got caught by the wife playing with himself in the bath he said "it's mine & I'll wash it as fast as I want"

I use snow foam on the cars but, despite claims, I reckon it still needs ‘agitating’ but at least it stays on the car, not run off in 20 seconds.
It doesn’t deep clean enough in my humble opinion but if you used it week in week out it might be better.

On the basis you can leave it on the car as long as you like, even 30 mins is suggested, spraying the bike and then using a soft brush might well work. I’ve not tried it myself yet though as it would mean washing the bike open to public view.

Go on then....I’ll say it....
You’ve done a good job there, what was it like before you cleaned it.

Sorry.....I’ll go....

I'm pretty similar to Minky. If I've been out on the lanes I go home via a public jetwash as it's easier than cleaning the mud off the drive if I do it at home. Pretty similar on the GS, lanes or roads. Both bikes get a thorough clean in the autumn and spring though. After the autumn one they get treated to ACF50.
It can get mucky out there sometimes.
