SORTED!!

Yay!!!! Turned out to be a faulty sub assembly on the top of the solenoid... :o

Started testing ouputs on all the terminals of the new unit and realised that there was no live for the ignition. Swapped it for the other sub assembly and Bob's Yer Uncle. Started first time :)

TYpical stupidness on my part for not trying it earlier, but assumed a new unit would work out of the box. :lol:

Essentially that is what I did after ruling out the usual suspects like crap earth etc :-)

ZSoon realised I had no power anywhere!!!

VERY Happy Steve Day too...

I really was wondering what I had fu&Ke& up initially! And the bike now starts like a dream with the new solenoid too :D
