Hi,
Could someone pls let me know how often (in miles) you should tighten `belt drive` bike belts?

I've had several Harleys and a Victory. It's more a case of "check and adjust if necessary".

Re: Triumph Thunderbird 1600
Never needed to touch mine on my Electra Glide in the 11 years and 30 odd thousand miles I had it. Virtually maintaince free. From memory, Harley suggested replacing the belt after 70 thousand or thereabouts, although my memory’s not what it used to be, so I could be a few miles out.

Had a thunderbird for a few years, once the belt is set you don’t need to touch them until you change the tyre..which you will do..a lot...can’t remember the specifics but I know they run tight, tighter then a Harley by the book..but I always ran min a little looser, about 1/4 turn..if you get the rear wheel out of alignment buy just a tickle the belt will squeak like crazy...little bit of candle wax on the side of the belt cures it...that’s about as much as I can remember...loved mine but expensive to run...
