I have a Mappy sat nav which is as basic as could be, covers all of Europe except the UK . Living in France this is no problem until now , as my wife has to return to the UK for a couple of weeks . Question : is it possible to load the UK on it ? It has a socket for an SD card . Any help will be appreciated.

Haven't got a clue about your sta nav, but if your wife has a smart phone she should be able to download Nav Mi for free which for road use is a perfectly adequate sat nav. It works off the phone signal so does not use mobile data. There are probably other options as well.
