On a serious note as the sellers seem to be pre-filling the batterys what to stop people just emptying them?

Exactly.As if someone is going to spend £60 on a new battery just to get a bottle of acid to throw in someone's face.

I would leave the acid as is and throw the whole battery in their face.

I doubt it. You can still buy an acid battery, the only difference is the supplier is putting the acid in before you receive it.
