BMW F 650 Dakar side stand

I recently bought a 2005 dakar which had been lowered. I've put it back to standard height but supect the side stand has been shortened.
Does any one know the lenght of a standard dakar side stand?
Also. How can I find out if it's been restricted?

They are restricted with a second hole for the throttle cable on the throttle body. Ie it just doesn’t let the throttle fully open.

Side stand looks to be about 38cm, but they do really lean at an angle, I have added a 15mm base to try lifting it up, seems to work and also gives more surface area for soft ground.

Thanks Will. I've done a bit more googling on the subject and it does appear that the Dakar was given a short side stand. I was thinking of welding an extra piece to lengthen it but the Yanks seem to favour sticking an ice hockey puk on the foot. So I think I'll go with your suggestion.
