Hi,
I'm looking to make another set of round steel tube rear pannier frames for my wk400, to take soft panniers.
My last attempt with a pipe bender/welder wasn't very pretty or strong.
So anyone know where I can buy pannier frame loops (OD~20mm & 2/3mm wall thickness) already precurved welded into a rectangular hoops.
I can then make weld up some support tubes to attach them onto my bike.
Cheers

Re: Pannier frame loops - precurved made up
my skill set is not up to tubing ..but ive had decent results using light box section and flat bar ..much easier to work with than tubing and they are strong ..

cozi70 your 2nd link looks promising thanks
Chubbyhooker that's good recycling of chairs
Minkyhead thanks but I'm keen to learn/practise more with tubing as lighter. Looks strong.

diggermanbob so far only ones I can see are either too old/rusty, different diameter tubing or need some work - in which case it may be easier to start from scratch ... good idea though, ta
