Quick and Easy Ethanol Test

Get yourself a narrow glass container, the narrower the better fill about an inch or so of it with Water and mark the level

Next fill the tube tube up the remaining few inches with the fuel you are testing, the water will stay at the bottom as it is heavier, now give the tube a good shake and let it sit for a minute.
If the water level goes up as in below, there is ethanol in the fuel ( in this instance about 5% Ethanol)...simples
