Sorry another Tyre thread

Anyone used these?, fitment would be on a 450 four stroke single, Used mostly on technical green lanes in Wales and the borders that have a mixture of Rocks and peat bogs.

I am assuming they will be good on the rocks, but less so in the bogs but would be good to hear of others experience...oh and are they shagged after 10 rides? or will I get a couple thousand miles out of them?

I usually ride on Maxxis ITs

thought you posted trailmax ( was looking up pics) .. DUNLOP
but its trialmaxx !! .. MAXXIS

don't know

..but they are advertised as softer compound, so a good guess would be that they will not last long at all, made for lightweight trials rather than trails?
The Maxxis IT I guess would be more suitable for trails and last longer?

I had some mitas? TRIALs tyres fitted to my previous TTR600 .. omg ... they were the wrong rim fitting, the guy told me, and very very soft compound ... they started wearing down as soon as I started using them. .. .. .. and on tarmac they were deadly dodgy .. waobly and uncertain and downright nasty ...
but I expect they are very good on a light trials bike in its correct situation. ?

edit .. now I remember, the trials tyres were really good on easy trails , but a nerve wreck on the leading roads, but .. they were the wrong tyre for the wrong bike.
