Suzuki Dr650 Clutch parts?

Post by Andi_Archer »

Hi All
Well I cleaned out the carb whilst I was waiting for the jets to come in and though it looked clean its made a great difference to performance there was however a small piece of black rubber in the petrol inlet [as per image]. The jets look to be 145 and 42.5 and in good nick

This said the acceleration is that sharp now its showing up the clutch slipping under high load. So where is the best place in the UK to get some spares such as plates and springs OEM or not whats the best option?

Oh and whats the colour code for the frame on a 2005 model which looks to be a silver grey?
Thanks

The paint code is usually on a sticker on the frame rails under the seat.

As for clutch parts take your pick, for genuine Suzuki try CMSNL........ https://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-dr650se-20 ... partslist/

Otherwise, wemoto, ebay. M&P

Andy,
I now use heavy duty clutch springs, the slipping clutch problem has gone. There are plenty ads on Ebay for DR clutch kits, picas a reputable make though 👍

I had a 1996 and now have a 2102 and as far as I can tell there is no difference in the clutch parts.

Use this link Andy, no end of knowledgeable peeps here........... http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/t ... /page-7917

Clutch basket part number is the same for a 2012 as it is for a 1996 - 21200-44B21
