The wheel may be out of round slightly, I think it's been a problem for the KTM spoked wheels, especially on the front.

Did they say how they managed to unlock and remove the case?

I had them check that out when they were balancing the wheel again and it all measures up fine. Bit of a mystery as to the irregular wear of the rear tyre.

They were familiar with the problem as they'd done one a few days earlier and even had a spare barrel in stock, which must mean it's a common problem.
Drilled the lock and pulled it out I think but no idea how they released the locking pins. The techie did say if they followed the method KTM recommend it would have taken a lot longer - they've done so many they've got it down to a fine art!
