I've used Tubliss on the 690 for 2 years now with no issues, granted I've not done many miles on them (around 3,500 miles and 2 sets of tyres in that time) but they will be staying in for the third set next week and see how long they last.
I use Stan's no tubes sealant (around 60-80ml each wheel) and the pressures in the tyres stay up for a reasonable length of time.

I have 7 sets of wheels and just swap em out depending on the weather. Slicks for sunny days on the tarmac. Intermediates for slight drizzle. Full wets for most weekends in the uk. 80/20 road trail if I Fancy a fire road or two in the way to the coffee shop, 50/50 road trail for proper off road posing, 20/80 road trail for longer tours and then off road for actual riding and having fun. It pays to have loads of wheels so you dont skin your knuckles trying to change the rubber all the time. Call ktm and they'll do you a deal for 6 more sets of wheels with discs.

Not read all through the tread, so apologies if they have been mentioned, but a few of the 690 lads had the new E12's on and seemed impressed 8-)

Rats...MT21 on the way already.
That looks a good option.
Are they Surrey guys Stewie? If so, then they should be fine on East Sussex lanes.

The Mitas E12 looks very similar to the E09 but ...ouch, the price!

I was horrified at prices generally, particularly dual sport - into the £100 to £120 bracket.
But I suppose the stress knobbled tyres are under on big traillies must be huge.
