Sprintster ...

Oops. I did indeed mean Freewheel.

Where did you get the components for that removable hitch?

The tow ball itself cost £8 on EBay.The couple of pieces of box section were just bits of scrap lying around at work. The flat bar and metal tube were also off Ebay.Total cost was about £50.Having a friend who's a bit handy with a welder-priceless! :)

That looks cool but it must be close to the 2.5m limit from the rear axle.

Thanks for the info. It looks very professional.

That trailer does look as though it might be close to the 2.5m limit, but is it in the UK? Looking at some threads on ADV rider, trailer laws seem to vary from state to state, and I haven't seen any reference to size/weight limits anywhere.

I have looked at a lot of trailers but wonder what nose weight comes with the single wheel trailer when its loaded to 150kg. Some nose weight is essential but I don't fancy a 100-150 kilo nose weight on a bike. I do have a tow bar for my K100RT and a trailer in the making but not sure how it is all working out yet. If one resists the temptation to bring too much it makes the packing and unpacking much faster and can make the riding a lot easier.

I think what makes it look toy like are the non Rotopax fuel cans.
