Hi Ray it is indeed te esa version , it's my firs foray into big Yamaha,s as I have had 5 Gs GSA,s .
On the BM it works out of the box ,rack it up and fling the kit on -- job done, but they are getting to be very expensive toys so I thought I would try one of these S10 ,s. Goes well brake well handles not to bad , this UN has had the Hilltopped Magic carried out and it is NOT a slow bike :woohoo:

They are moving towards pushbikes now but they did a good job servicing my Yacugar shock and they are an Ohlins specialist. If they cannot help, they may know where you can get it uprated.

The previous owner of my 2012 S10 put the later angular mirrors on my bike but i have recently got a pair of the earlier rounded type which i've yet to fit but just looking at them they seem bigger.

Is it the Yamaha originals you have to fit on ? If so where from n how much if I might ask ?

I bought a pair of oem XT660 mirrors from ebay,they were only the mirrors and stems so i will have to use my base mounts,i think if memory serves me i paid about £20 the pair.

Mk 1 bikes have steel stand so get one of them - I'm guessing the fixing is the same.
Next time your down this way bring the s10 and we can compare it with my vintage version.

Oi H ,,,,,, I ain't been well this week which is why i am not at "the Dent" down to 11st 3lbs now ,proper racing snake (thumbs)
Hoping to go to the Scotland ADV out west rally next week ,then home and south to the channel and up Scandinavia (Norway west) North of the A Circle to the Lofotens / Nordkapp
If anyone wants to tag on that would be OK

I could do with a bimble up to Big Scotland but kinda tied up next weekend, and too much work on at the mo to do something like the Nordkapp.

Yer a long time dead ,and I am just wanting to ride while I still have enough health to do it .
Once they screw the lid down ,or age catches up its toooooooo late to have regrets .
Be nothing posh ,, riding camping, doing all me own chow etc etc, keeps the costs manageable (thumbs)
