tyres for morocco
tyres for morocco
some one posted on here some cheap tyres (knobblies) some time ago that would fit an xt 600 e but i cant find the post any one recall the make need to be able to cope with sand and the road trip from uk to morocco and back.
Re: tyres for morocco
TKC 80s do it - went down there and back on a set a couple of years ago - 5,000 miles (mainly)on road and off with no problems in the wet or dry. Just take note of the speed restrictions (usually about 90 mph). The tyres have now done about 7,000 miles and are going strong (just put them back on my F800GS).
There is something about life and dress rehearsal that I need to remember ...

Re: tyres for morocco
I used Mitas 644 Exteme Army in Morocco and found them to be great on all surfaces apart from when it get wet in the mountains.
on my MT350 there is a bit of weave at about 60mph on roads, so great for motorway crusing.
