I've had this too - reinsured mine in January - Hastings were about £280 last year - then asked for £900!

I just shopped about - and back at around the £290 mark now... and that includes breakdown etc

I think - from chatting with a broker - that one of the big underwriters is fed up of big adventure bikes (he reckons), and has put a big premium on them - its due to two things - expensive farkles, and being nicked for spare parts due to a super buoyant used parts market.

Keep shopping about - you'll be reet...

Wife's MT07 renewal with Bennetts £243, Carol Nash quote £146 with added benefit of Euro breakdown cover.

Haha . Its a crazy price . Double the price of my car insurance. I've got 3 years no claims to so can't understand it . £800 was cheap compared to the other quotes I had . All the rest was £1500 - £2000.
