I used in on a 30 mile commute and it lasted. The can says 50 miles but I haven't tested it.

I used it once and was riding on ice covered with water and was unable to stop as there wasn't enough grip to put my feet down to support the bike but the tyres still gripped enough to filter around the stuck traffic.

I could have done with that on the soles of boots today! I'm only commuting on my bike just now because my car is in the garage but when I tried to stop at either end I was lucky to hold the bike up when I put my feet down! hmy:

It is a very sticky resin suspended in solvent. Spray it on and leave it for 5 minutes for the solvent to evaporate and ride away. It's a bugger if you get it on your hands or bike parts so be careful where you spray.

So is this stuff the same as the product that been around for years Belt grip?
as used on fan belts and the agriculture boys on combines and other belt operated machinery to stop them squealing and slipping, sticks like smelly stuff to a blanket for a period of time.
