Avon trail riders

I fitted them to my r1200gsa about 1000 miles ago. So far I am liking them - a lot. Too early to tell on wear yet but handling and overall feel is very good. There was an offer on pairs of then at M&P a few days which would make them a bargain too.

Yes, got a pair fitted on my 800XC about 1500 to 2000 miles ago.
They seem very good on the road, not been off road, unless you count the grass verge, all two up riding but not seen any rain yet.
£205 fitted to loose wheels. Quieter than the AnakeeIII's I had before that.
Regarding my 800XC, I've fitted a 19" front wheel instead of the standard 21" so I can't say what the 21" front Trail Rider is like, if they do one.
All my bikes I ride two up and tyres don't really last me that long, so if I get 6000 miles out of them i'll be glad.

Just brought a pair for my Varadero 1000, £190 fitted to loose wheels from Protyre. Tread appears a bit more open than Distanza and tread does not seem as deep as the Gripsters I have on my Transalp so probably right for what I do.

i have a 1250gsa and have recently fitted avon trail riders, i have tried anakee 111 anakee adventure pilot 4 and bridgestone baatalax on my last 3 gsa and these are head and shoulders above all the others, so precise on cornering, no noise and no over or under steer, don't know about the mileage yet but loving them so far.

just judging by the looks .. these tyres look great for an adventure bike that only does occasional light forays off tarmac, and then on gravel or dry lanes .. but I think they would be useless on the more demanding trails … but best wishes to all who use them as intended.

OK for soft-roaders, motorways, dirty country lanes, hard tracks on the Vara, have put a front on my Africa (xrv750) and replace the current back with one soon.
Suits my riding my green lanes have are surfaced (hopefully) and only green in the middle.
