So - a few mates headed away on the Eurotunnel today.
They were chatting to some other bikers in the queue.
Then, this was spotted on a blokes bike RT.
Apparantly it had gotten a little warm in the Queue. Then it stalled - and wouldn't start off the battery - so it was jump started and left to idle for a good while.
No oil in the right hand side - and a very VERY bad smell apparently.
The Tunnel staff wouln't let him re-start it - (fire risk) and made him and his firneds wheel it off the back and out....
Not sure what happened after that.
It was 25 degrees Celsius in the queue.
Wowser.
Gotta wonder, is that the engine cooked to death - or just a coating that bubbled - and the engine might just hopefully need a work over?
Engine: Goosed.... WOW!

Re: Engine: Goosed.... WOW!
I am wondering if something had caused it to run lean fuel/air mixture , that could cause overheating and damage , was it fuel injected or carburetor type engine ?
Re: Engine: Goosed.... WOW!
That's a twin cam, last of the oil/air cooled motors, its fuel injected.
