Either screen front seal gone or the battery back is letting in water and causing condensation...has happened to a few in the usa...

Under the old EU directive I thought the warranty could be pushed to two years, but as we are not in it anymore I dont know how that would work, anyway you must report the fault to Garmin straight away dont delay and explain only used a few times and hopefully you should get it fixed under the warranty, as BYT says they are usually good (thumbs)

I wasn't as lucky as you guys. I tried the garmin online site and it just said it's out of warranty and wanted to charge me before doing anything else so I phoned up to see if a real person had a nicer response and they said the same it's out of warranty so £118 for a replacement
