Could be wrong but don't think the 800 has a filter

Must be catching, the Trannie is running Rough and cutting out. Suspect the plug cap on front cylinder, replacements ordered.

Might be worth checking on the GS.

find out when exactly its cutting out (slowing down, idling, under speed, acceleration etc..) . Ive just spent about 6 mths troubleshooting mine, replacing pretty much whole fuel system, finally finding out what it was.

and yes, 800gs does have fuel filter in fuel pump mount. its mahle

It seems to be on slow running. I am going to give it a local run today and see what happens......if it's acting up, I'll take the coward's way out and take it into BMW!

There you go then, I stand corrected (thumbs)
Out of all of the BMW range ,the 650,700,800 must be generally the most reliable.
Apart from crap chains and bearings I never seem to see them at the workshop.,
In three years I have serviced one bike :cheer:

Just swap the pumps over, you have two ! (thumbs)

Actually, somewhere I have a spare....Windy bought two (Toyota Corolla pumps) when it gave up the ghost in Morocco and he gave me it when I bought the bike off him.
