i fitted these tyres to my GSA a couple of years ago, i rode about with them for a year, 75% on the road 25% on moorland fire roads, i liked those tyres, i thought they were pretty good on the road steady away, i don't have that bike now I've got a 690 but i think i will put the same continental tkc80 twinduro tyres on the 690. although i will probably do about 50 50 on road and trail riding, on this bike, i just wondered what other peoples opinions on these tyres might be for 50/50 use, cheers

continental tkc80 twinduro
Re: continental tkc80 twinduro
Id hold out for the Anakee wilds! Ive seen them up close and they look a lot more offroad focused than the TKCs and they are a 50 50 tyre. (thumbs)
Re: continental tkc80 twinduro
I would disagree, with the round profile they are not more off road biased say like a MT21 is, but more off road than say a tourance.
Finally back on a GS
Re: continental tkc80 twinduro
I tried them on my Xchallenge and didnt like them, maybe they suit a heavier bike.
