Hi Bob,

We currently enjoying the california sunshine, and it's HU California this weekend.

Liz had a little whoopsie a couple of weeks ago (not bike related) and hasn't been riding for a few weeks and is still a week or so away from riding.

The weather is good and we've used the time to get some maintenance on the bike done.

I've ran two sets of E09 dakars on the 640adv.
Great in the Peaks, not so great in the wet clay of Northants but they are for drier , rockier conditions.
Was told by Gwyn at Trellesport that the Dakars are for the heavier bikes, i.e AT's BMW's etc
Now on Maxxis ITs which are great. Run them on both the 400exc and 640adv and cannot fault them, even on tarmac they have more grip than a knobbly should
Got my last set from Zen overland, Mike 54 on here sells them too.

Good tyre for dr650 I prefer the maxxcross it lol... Prices do vary too
I'll go along with Russ here.
Maxxis-Maxxcross IT's are a great tyre.
I run them @ 18 - 26 psi
Very good on & off tarmac
Good sub 50 pound price.
I use them front & Back.
& what's important to me, they're easy to get on & off with 8" tyre levers.
Lightness is everything.
