Honda Transalp Exhaust

Hi All
I’m thinking of replacing the exhaust on my xl 700 Honda Transalp any suggestions
On the best to fit would be greatly appreciated (nothing to loud and must pass the MOT)
Also would removing the Cat at the same time help increase the power?

I have a FUEL can on my 650TA and I'm very pleased. Looks good, sounds good, but no MOT problems.
