Touratech dual bottle holder!

Post by Shedman »

Hi,has anyone got a dual touratech bottle holder
Because I'm debating getting either double or single
But could do with size of it,and (double is £25 and
Single is £20 )I emailed touratech about the possibility
Of cutting double in half makes sense to me but they said
You would only have one edge turned up so would not be
Secure!? Or has anyone got good ideas for fixing
1 ltr trangia bottle. Any help would be much appreciated.

Zen overland have just had some bottle holders designed and made for me and Liz.

I don't think they're yet on the website, but they were designed to be stronger than the TT bottle holders but still lightweight as Gabe has seen the TT ones fail before.

There is a drain hole in the solid end of the tool tube but your fuel bottle should be air tight and capable of pressure to be sold as a fuel bottle.
I have a 1l MSR bottle and I use petrol in mine

hey thats even better, buy the double, chop it, stainless is easy to bend so put the lip on both cut edges and sell one!

i used to just fill my coleman by yanking the fuel line off the carb on the XT and using the fuel tap as, well... a tap
