That's an amazing amount of frame working, looks really good too.

Have you kept easy access to water pump and engine covers and valve clearance check or is it engine out for everything? If it is I would open the bell housing off and replace the crankshaft rear main seal and also check out the clutch and other seals in there. On the regular frame you can get in there in an hour from scratch.

Just done all engine checks plus replaced the oil/water pump shaft/impellar, clutch must have been done prior to me buying the engine, like new. All access is as standard only hinderence is getting to the oil filter/sump plug. 4 x 10mm bolts to drop the bash plate off which is no biggy job.

What is it with this site and posting pictures eh..?? I've never had such hassle and confusion and disorientation and sensitivity when trying to upload photo's. It never posts what I upload to the box.... Aaaaarrrgghhhh….!!!

Working in a freezing cold workshop is never good no matter how enthusiastic your project gets you, knocked this test rig up for the electrics, basically all the power boards and relays used to convert from CAN-bus GS1200 switch clusters to pre-historic 'K' series wiring plus all the heated clothing sockets/bar grips variable temp modification.

It's doing it AGAIN, sideways on and not in order. ABR, I'll never understand how your attachment mechanism flipping well works, or more to the point what the hell it does and to it's own accord...!!!

That all looks amazing, thank you for sharing.

I find with attachments that I convert typed files to PDF and for photos I reduce their size down to around 50% converting to JPG.

Waiting now for your next instalment.

It's the same with any trade really, at my age and experience if I can't do a half decent job of the electrics then I'd want shooting. Wires always get folk a little flustered, what I have done here is quite basic, if I was proficiant in electronics then I could've reduced the component size/area volume
by half if not quartered but these relays are globally used and found so simple wins the day.
The best thing was that nearly everything blooming well worked off the key, stoked to bits. The one thing I haven't tested yet is the two Kemo variable DC speed drive units I've used to regulate the heated grips and clothing, works off two dash pots mounted up behind the screen. I can feel myself turning into some kind of electrical nerd, I have glasses just need a side parting.....!!
