Did the first long ride on the Tenere yesterday, 190 miles in total.
Steve and myself started off in Barrowford then onto Ingleton. Took a very scenic high level road from Ingleton to Dent (Thornton Lane). Quick brew at Devils Bridge then headed towards Eskdale to the start of Hardknott Pass. Was a bit hairy in places due to heavy rain and lots of washed out gravel on the roads. At the other side we had a pint and bite in the Wainwrights pub, Langdales and then made our way home in the chilly dark.
I'm loving the xt, even with the TKC80s in the wet it felt well planted. Its got plenty enough power for me and I even managed over 60mpg. (Steve managed to get 70mpg out of his gs650!!)
Could just do with some warmer winter riding gear!!

Best bit of kit I brought for winter riding was a Gerbings Heated Jacket Liner not cheap but lasts for years
