The Old coach Road (Lake District)

Post by philmatuk »

Hi all

i had a bash at this on my last rotation out we went two up on my 2017 AT and alls i can say is OMG, well lots of twitchy bum moments and eventually my wife Andrea bless was so relieved when i finally pulled the pin and decided it was a reach to far on the tired we had on PLUS my limited off road skills we got as far as the rather deep wade about 2/3 in going east to west. Bless her she nearly deafened me through the intercom with her squeals and screams on some of the descents over those rutty tracks and lose rocks etc
We had a blast though its maybe NOT a two up thing ... it certainly wasnt in my skill capacity but we gave it a good go though
defo worth a go though guys if that sort of thing tickles your fancy

stay safe all ride safe too

My missis used to love going down the trails, She always insisted I had done them a week before to "checkum out"
Good fun but dont upset her

A wonderful road. Loved it but unless you count a small teddy, I was fortunately just one up 😉
