The end of the road ?

Post by ErikGustav2 »

If the road has a start, does int not have an end.
If you drive for long enough, you should find the end.

So I gave it a try.
And I found the place as the most western point of continental Europe :
Where the earth ends and the ocean starts.

Nice pics. I went there once. You get these amazing sea fogs that roll in, even during mid-Summer, and the temperature sinks 15 degrees in just a few minutes. I like that Atlantic Portuguese coastline.

Well, not the M25 road, you will just drive endlessly around London, forever!
I was lucky enough to ride the Ruta del Fin del Mundo a little while ago. However, we decided at a certain T junction to turn north towards good weather rather than south into awful weather at the actual Fin del Mundo (ie. Cabo de Hornos), so only got within a short distance of the end of that particular road!
Somewhat differently, the road to the western-most point of Ireland (Dunquin) doesn't stop - it just gently sweeps round and carries on inland. Albeit we stopped there overnight.

The mouth of the hell

Post by ErikGustav2 »

Well,
I have been to hell. And I hardly survived. But I returned again.

I never saw the mouth to enter/exit......

But now I have found it !!
In Calcais, Portugal.

(And I avoided falling down)

The place was calm that day. So I did not see anything of the inferno.
