Dirty Day in Deux Sevres

Post by daveuprite »

Really good day out today at Matt's. First time we've done these trails. Me, Steve and Matt. Strange part of the world. Huge wide prairies full of maize and wheat one minute, then wooded river valleys the next. Big thanks to Matt for leading and Helen for feeding.

115 kilometres in all, mostly off road, including what is probably my record on the Beta, 132kph blast for a minute or two. Amazing just how fast that feels on a 450 thumper with MX tyres. Pics will be posted up when they are forthcoming.

As Dave's said, really nice area to ride, and theres what seems part of an enduro course, with serious descents and climbs, tight and gadgetry, a great play area.

If a thing's worth saying, it's worth saying twice Steve.

Now isn't it time you posted an upside down photo or two? :D
