Forty seven mile ride

'Forty seven mile ride'

Well as this sublime weather seems here to stay a while I decided to take a ride out yesterday afternoon on my 2008 V-Strom DL1000 which I've owned since new.
I live close to Stirling and decided on a route which I know quite well;

Dollar - Muckhart - Glendevon Hills - Gleneagles - Braco - Greenloaning - Sheriffmuir - Causeway Head - home.

I turned off the main Glendevon road for a drink of water, and kick back and watch the large amount of motorcycles go by

Such a beautiful view from the top of the Glendevon mountain overlooking Perthshire

I called into the famous Gleneagles Hotel Golf resort, the Hotel is still currently closed but the golf course open

Then from Gleneagles Hotel I took the tiny B road into Braco, then into Greenloaning, crossed the A9 onto the Sherrifmuir hills

Such an idyllic location and fantastic tiny B roads, twisting and turning...

No big speeds, no need, such a relaxing motorcycle ride in the most glorious countryside and sunshine....

Cheers;
