Off the roads in Sweden

Post by Per W »

My buddy Peter and I took our bikes, a KTM EXC 500 and a Honda CRF 250, for an extended weekend to ride tracks and gravel roads between Gothenburg and Karlsborg. We had our basecamp in Karlsborg at a hotel with free beer and wine (!). The deep forest of Tiveden was the goal for the Saturday ride.

Day one took us to the free booze. 8-)

Per w,
Nice videos and nice riding.
I'm hoping to do some riding out that way next year.
Is it possible that you could share your route with me?
Thanks in advance.

Wonkyconk, I'll sort the tracks out for you in the weekend.

If you plan a trip to Sweden this might be a good teaser. A bit further north from a trip a few years back.

That looks perfect, exactly the sort of trip I'd like to do, spectacular scenery.

Being a bit nostalgic, I stumbled over this "video" from 2013. Just to add to the rides we do in Sweden. 8-)

I sometimes go to Sweden as a guest of Volvo Trucks or Scania.

When riding in the coach between the airport and the hotel i've often looked at those tracks running away into the forests and wondered if it is possible to ride them.

Now I know.
