Cool enjoyed that, last time i was in outer hebrides was back in 1980 when i stayed on Mingulay island for 4 weeks studying wildlife thw site of basking sharks was a site ill never forget me being in a sea kayak. :lol:...

Enjoyed that, though surprised you went down to Eriskay, as nice as it is, having to troll through South Uist just isn't worth it in my opinion. Also surprised you never visited some of the other amazing beaches on Harris at Kneep and Husinish.

RandG, I'll be heading back again soon. I'm lucky enough to be relatively close by so I'll probably camp along that way. Ye cannae beat a (k)neep.😅

Oh, I really liked South Uist this time. I'll go back to Barra when I'm back over too. I wouldn't miss Eriskay for anything though.

I was up at Melgarve bothy the other week, I actually thought about you when I was there, on my ATAS ;)

Great write up , certainly got some good weather for your trip .

wOw -- sublime photography for sure...!!! Which camera was used for these excellent images please..? Quality photography.

I've been looking closely at the Africa Twin as my possible next bike, they seem to do it all.
