A days ride through Central Scotland

Post by macvisual »

On Wednesday I took advantage of the decent weather and rode my Suzuki V-strom DL1000 through Central Scotland on quiet roads I know well, I fitted new tyres a few days before the ride (Metzeler Roadtec 01's), total miles ridden was 155, here's the route I selected;

Stirling -- Thornhill -- Dukes Pass (Aberfoyle) -- Kilmahog -- Killin -- Bridge Of Balgie -- Glen Lyon -- Dull -- Aberfeldy -- Crieff -- Braco and home.

Here's a few photo's taken with a basic Nikon compact.

Such an enjoyable day riding the grunty V twin.

Nice pictures :)

On the decent days I wonder why I want to go and ride my bike in the Alps etc, shortly after I realise why!
