Another day on the TET Section 9 France

TET Section 9 France, Trébons - Aspet.
The route downloaded and in the Garmin Montana, set off with Graham again to pick up the trail where we left off last time in Trébons, Just 10 mins from home. The first part is road then picked up the trail around Ordizan, From the Col Plombières we took the trail marked roughly translated "Enter this route at your risk" sounds interesting. It was marked on the TET gpx as Danger!! Some technical sections, but a very nice long trail through the forest with excellent views over the Pyrenees. The next section was narrow tarmac sections, until near Arrodets, then we picked up another long trail to Hèches, where we managed to find some lunch, where the lady had just closed the small village shop/bar as we pulled up outside. After a little discussion, she opened the shop again to purchase our picnic lunch. We then seem to have all the family out looking at the bikes and asking about the route. Think we delayed their lunch as was now past 1:30pm.
Picking the trail up again outside Larrieu, we rode into the forest finding a cabin, think it was for hunters, borrowed a couple of chairs and sat outside in the shade to have lunch. Continued passing the famous Saint-Bertran-de-Comminges, and also the Roman village.
Fueling up for the return journey we decided to follow the TET trail back in reverse.
A great day on the TET, and all on the doorstep..
Apologies for the images, as all taken with the Garmin Montana.
An old water powered sawmill and charcoal factory.
